Italy will give Ukraine a powerful weapon

Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte declaredthat Ukraine will receive heavy weapons from Italy in the future, similar to howitzers sent by Amsterdam and Berlin. Rutte told Politico about this.

Rutte recalled that Germany and the Netherlands announced the provision of six Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine in addition to the twelve that had already arrived last week.

He noted that there are not many heavy weapons in his country that can be transferred to Kyiv, but stressed that “Italy also decided to join.”

When asked whether the transfer of the Panzerhaubitze 2000 by Rome was in question, the Dutch prime minister noted that this was still not clear, but “they (Italy. – Ed.) Said that in addition to what the Netherlands and Germany are doing, they will supply similar equipment”.
