Kiev, repulsed Russian assault in the direction of Sloviansk

(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 06 – The Ukrainian army has repelled the assault of Russian troops near Dolyna, in the direction of Sloviansk, a city in eastern Ukraine considered by the Cricial Federation after Lysychansk and Severodonotesk. This was stated by the Ukrainian General Staff in its morning report, quoted by Ukrinform. According to the Kiev army, the Federation military forces have been driven back near Dolyna.

While heavy bombardments with mortars and artillery are underway along the line of contact in the directions of Avdiyivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia.

Meanwhile, British intelligence has made it known that “in the last week the Russian forces have probably advanced another 5 kilometers along the main road E40 from Izyum, facing an extremely determined Ukrainian resistance”. (HANDLE).
