Employees at an upscale New York restaurant are looking for a couple who left their wedding rings in the bathroom after having sex over the weekend.

Balthazar owner Keith McNally wrote a stunning Instagram post Monday detailing how the couple used the men’s room as a private sexual oasis over the long holiday.

McNally claimed they fled before officers had a chance to catch them. But they quickly placed the ring on the bathroom floor.

Now social media users are wondering who the adventurers are and if they are married to each other.

McNally claims restaurant manager Zuheir Luhaichi told him about the encounter in a memo detailing what happened in the Soho hotspot over Independence Day weekend.

“We had a complaint from a couple who had sex in one of the men’s stalls,” Luhaich wrote.

“But when I asked the floor manager, Greg, to run over and check what was going on, the two were nowhere to be found, so they remained a mystery.”

“Oddly enough, Greg found a small wedding band on the bathroom floor,” he added.

Luhaichi said the ring was lost and found in the restaurant. McNally said page six The couple had not yet returned to retrieve the ring on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the internet is loving McNally’s post, with Instagram user Erika Forstadt claiming it “might be my favorite”.

“I love a good story,” repeated Shari Applebaum. Others made humorous comments mocking the couple.

“Well, where’s the ring shot?” asked Amy Hinkler. “I’m sure someone can recognize the hand it belongs to.”

‘Sex, drinking and rock and roll…you can hardly ask for more!’ James Dickerman wrote. Sadie Stein added: “But who stole the couple from the bathroom in the first place?”

The couple’s sexual adventures weren’t the only chaos the team encountered over the weekend.

Luhaichi told McNally that they had to “cut” a woman at the bar who was “obviously intoxicated”.

“He was swinging and two ladies at the bar grabbed him to help him to his feet,” he recalled.

“He threatened to call a lawyer, and as he was leaving, he looked at the booth and said, ‘I want them to leave, you idiot!’

According to the manager, the drunk woman was taken from Balthazar during the previous visit.

Despite some unpleasant situations, Luhaich insisted it was a successful weekend for the institution. They served 480 dinners, with many customers posting “lovely comments about the food and service”.

McNally’s Instagram posts have become popular with some users who claim there is a “romance in every post” and that the stories should be used to “make a series for Netflix”.

However, the eccentric restaurant owner has warned that most social media posts are outright lies, including his own.

“Eighty percent of Instagram posts are lies,” he said. Wall Street Journal last month

“People post stories and photos about how they want others to see them, not who they really are. mine is included, but I still admit it and try to change.”

It’s unclear how much of McNally’s post is about potty lovers, but the internet seems to want to believe the story is real.
