4th of July parade shooter ‘seriously considered’ carrying out second attack

According to the police Chicago, Robert Crimoa 21-year-old man accused of having shot at a parade of 4th of JulyIndependence Day United Stateson the outskirts of the city, would have considered committing a second attack. According to police spokesman Christopher Covelli, Crimo fled highland parkin illinoiswhere the first attack took place, and drove to Madisonin Wisconsin, where he would have “seriously considered” carrying out another attack. The information was given this Wednesday, 6, two days after the attack. Crimo’s shots killed seven people and left at least 24 people seriously injured. On Tuesday, 5, Crimo was charged with the first-degree murder of seven people and could be sentenced to life in prison. According to Lake County Attorney Eric Rinehart, “there will be more charges” against the 21-year-old. “We anticipate dozens of indictments more focused on each of the victims,” Rinehart said. Crimo reportedly used “a powerful rifle similar to an AR-15 to carry out the attack, which he had planned for weeks,” says Covelli.
