“Let America always remember that it has a part of its territory – Alaska, and let it, when it tries to dispose of our resources abroad, before doing this, think that we also have something to return,” Volodin said during a plenary session of parliament .

Banners “Our Alaska” appeared in Russia

In Krasnoyarsk, Russia, banners with the inscription “Alaska is ours” appeared.

Telegram-channel “Rise” reports that the city administration has nothing to do with the posters, this is a private initiative.

Banners about Alaska appeared in the city after Volodin’s speech the day before.

Later it turned out that the banners were placed by the local Alaska trailer plant. They explained that this was “a reference, such a subtle patriotic move, just about the fact that we have import substitution.”

Volodin threatens Norway with non-recognition of borders

Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin previously instructed to revise the Norwegian-Russian border agreement. In this way, Moscow wants to respond to Oslo’s ban on the admission of goods on transport with Russian numbers to Russian mines in Svalbard. The pass is prohibited by EU sanctions.

Volodin appealed to the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs with a request to revise the agreement on the dividing line at sea between Norway and Russia. In particular, the committee must decide whether to terminate or suspend the border and cooperation agreement in the Barents Sea.
