(ANSA) – BRUSSELS, JULY 09 – The EU will restore anti-dumping duties on some rolled aluminum products from China starting from Tuesday 12 July. The decision was announced in the EU Official Journal. Tariffs were suspended last October due to the surge in post-pandemic demand. However, the European industry association had filed an appeal in court.
In light of “the situation of the EU industry” and with Chinese imports “constantly and significantly increased”, the Commission has now concluded that “the conditions for extending the suspension of the measures are no longer satisfied”. (HANDLE).
