“The most affected country is Burkina Faso, where there are nearly two million internally displaced people,” said the High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi, on a two-day visit to the camps in Chad, which house over a million. of people. In his speech, the High Commissioner for Refugees lamented the inadequacy of military action alone, arguing that the battle against jihadists includes not only the matter of security, but also the fight against poverty, underdevelopment and education. .
