(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 17 – Poland has welcomed 4.81 million refugees from Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion: this was reported by Radio Polonia, according to Ukrinform, which cites a report by the Polish Border Guard agency .
“Since February 24, a total of 4.81 million people have entered Poland from Ukraine,” the agency wrote in a tweet. On Friday alone, about 25,100 refugees from Ukraine arrived in the country, compared to 24,800 the previous day. Also since February 24, 2.88 million people have left Poland to go to Ukraine, while about 23,300 people entered Ukraine from Poland on Friday. (HANDLE).
