(ANSA) – TEHRAN, JUL 18 – Iran “has the technical capabilities to make a nuclear bomb”. This was stated by Kamal Kharrazi, president of the Strategic Council for International Relations, which depends on the Iranian Foreign Ministry, assuring however that Tehran has not made a decision to that effect.
Kharrazi’s statements come after US President Joe Biden visited the Middle East and vowed to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and while negotiations between Tehran and major powers to revive the nuclear agreement of 2015.
