(ANSA) – BERLIN, 18 JULY – “The climate crisis is currently the greatest security problem for all people on earth”. German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock said this before the start of the “Petersberger Klimadialog”. “The climate crisis has no borders. Therefore, even the answers must not have any,” she added. “We all sit in the same boat, which means we can only row in the same direction.” The minister stressed that the war in Ukraine has a negative impact on the climate crisis, recalling that Germany itself will give new impetus to coal plants to replace Russian gas.
