(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 24 – In the Lugansk oblast, the Ukrainian army forced the Russian forces to withdraw from Verkhnokamianske, killed 12 Russian fighters from the Omon detachment (former special anti-terrorism units of the Russian police) based in Sakhalin “arrived in Ukraine by order of the Kremlin” and destroyed a Russian barracks in Kadiivka. This was reported on Telegram by Serhii Gaidai, head of the military administration of Lugansk oblast, quoted by Ukrainska Pravda.
“The Ukrainian defense forces are inflicting casualties on the enemy on all fronts where active combat operations take place,” he added, emphasizing the aid of artillery “provided by the West”.
“In recent weeks we have hit several ammunition depots and concentrations of invading soldiers in Lugansk Oblast alone. There have also been many successful attacks (on Russian forces) in Donetsk Oblast, which prevent the enemy from launching more concerted attacks.” he precised. (HANDLE).
