(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 24 – The port administration of Kiev has started preparing the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny for the restart of the ships after the signing in Istanbul with Russia and the UN for export by sea of wheat and related food products. This was announced by the press service of the port administration, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
“The arrival and departure of the ships to the indicated sea ports will be carried out by forming a caravan, which will be accompanied by the lead ship”, reads the statement in which it is requested, in order to draw up the plans for the formation of maritime caravans, to submit applications for the inclusion of vessels by email.
During the signing of the agreement, both the President of Turkey, Recep Erdogan, and the Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, announced that the movement of ships could resume in the coming days. (HANDLE).
