Vietnam: Textile Fair kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City

(ANSA) – HANOI, JUL 27 – The 2022 edition of SaigonTex and SaigonFabric, the textile, clothing and clothing accessories fair, opened its doors this morning in Ho Chi Minh City, which offers an important platform for exchange for local and foreign producers.
The fair hosts 278 exhibitors from sixteen different countries, including Italy, as well as China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United United, United States and Vietnam.
The national pavilions host the textile and clothing trade associations, as well as the major brands of each country. The Vietnamese pavilion gathers manufacturers such as Vinatex, along with members of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Apparel, Textile, Embroidery and Knitting Association.
Ho Chi Minh City Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Vo Tan Thanh said SaigonTex and SaigonFabric 2022 provide an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese and foreign manufacturers to showcase advanced products, materials and machinery in the textile industry and apparel and building economic partnerships, as reported by Vietnam Plus.
During the fair, which will be held until 30 July at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, refresher seminars will be held on policies, new solutions and innovations to improve skills and competitiveness.
