Johnny Depp sells a collection of prints for 3.5 million euros

(ANSA) – LONDON, JUL 29 – American actor Johnny Depp has sold a collection of prints he created of Hollywood and rock icons for about 3 million pounds (more than 3.5 million euros) through a gallery British.

On Instagram Deoo claims that the prints, made with computer-generated images, were put up for sale online by Castle Fine Art, which runs a network of galleries in Britain. The gallery said the collection of prints, titled “Friends and Heroes”, is “a testament to those he knew well and those who inspired him”. The gallery reported the actor’s words: “My paintings surround my life, but I kept them to myself and I limited myself. Nobody should ever limit themselves”.

Prints include Bob Dylan, Elizabeth Taylor, Al Pacino and Keith Richards. The gallery said its website, which featured 780 pieces for sale, was saturated with requests. Buyers paid around € 17,800 for a set of four framed prints or € 4,700 for a single print. (HANDLE).
