(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 29 – On the eastern front of Donbass, in Ukraine, the mercenaries of the Wagner Group (PMC), considered to be employed by the Kremlin, are taking up fighting positions on the front line, making up for the huge losses and shortages of personnel of the Moscow army: this is what we read in the latest British intelligence report published in the Guardian.
Until now, the contractors of the Wagner group since 2015 had never officially assumed combat roles on the field, relegated to secondary positions. Furthermore, the Kremlin has so far denied any direct relationship between the PMC private army and the Russian state, the report recalls, but this new finding risks denying it. (HANDLE).
