(ANSA) – JERUSALEM, AUG 15 – A Palestinian was killed today after attempting to stab Israeli police officers during an operation in East Jerusalem. The Israeli security forces reported this.
21-year-old Mohammed Shaham was shot in the head by Israeli forces in his family’s home, father Ibrahim said, according to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Police said they had launched a night operation to locate weapons in the Kafr Aqab neighborhood, which is part of Israel-annexed East Jerusalem but is on the West Bank side of the security fence. (HANDLE).
