50 cm snake bit a child on the lip and was bitten to death
A two-year-old child had an unusual attitude when he was bitten on the lower lip by a snake of 50 cm. She bit the animal back and ended up killing the reptile. “Our neighbors told me that the snake was in my daughter’s hand, she was playing with it and then bit her,” Mehmet Ercan, the girl’s father, told the IIkha agency, adding that “Allah protected her.” He was at work when it all happens. The case took place on Wednesday, 9, in Bingol, in Turkey. Despite the act of courage, the girl needed to be taken to the hospital due to the wound on her lower lip. She remained under observation for 24 hours, but is doing well and is now recovering at home. The snake’s species was not revealed. According to Newsweek, of the 45 species of snakes found in Turkey, 12 are venomous. However, as the girl did not show any serious symptoms and is already at home, the species in question was not venomous.
