(ANSA) – MEXICO CITY, AUGUST 17 – The Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Mexican State of Sonora today announced the discovery of a body which coincides with the available elements of the journalist Juan Arjón López of whom there has been no news since last August 9. This was reported by the newspaper El Universal.
In a press conference, the prosecutor Claudia Indira Contreras Córdova stated that “we have just learned that in the town of San Luis Río Colorado, a corpse has been found bearing the tattoos that Arjón López’s relatives had reported”.
Immediately after, he assured, at the level of the three powers of the Mexican state, searches were started and searches were carried out on possible suspects in the murder “.
