(ANSA) – TEL AVIV, AUGUST 18 – For the first time in the history of the Mossad, two women reach the top of two important sectors of the intelligence agency. This was announced by Mossad himself, explaining that one, indicated as “A”, has assumed the command of Director of the Intelligence Authority and the other, “K” has been placed in charge of the Iran Desk.
Both – for some time within the organization – have held very delicate roles: ‘A’ is responsible for formulating the overall strategic intelligence framework, including the Iranian nuclear program, global terrorism and normalization with the Arab world.
‘K’ as head of the Iran desk oversees the Mossad strategy in relation to all aspects of the Iranian threat. Agency Director David Barnea stressed that “many women serve in all roles of the Agency’s operations” with talent, professionalism and energy. ” (HANDLE).
