MADRID – A fire that broke out last night in the Spanish region of the Valencian Community is destroying a forest that is part of the Sierra Calderona natural park, located in the provinces of Castellón and Valencia. The local emergency services report.
The fire is added to others already active for days in the same region, in particular one that broke out near the town of Bejís, located a few kilometers from the Sierra Calderona.
Due to the proximity of the new fire, the authorities ordered the population of the small town of Olocau to stay indoors.
In a few days, the fires of the Valencian Community burned several thousand hectares of land.
