The Somali security forces concluded, after more than 24 hours, the siege against the Islamic terrorists of Al-Shabaab, linked to Al-Qaeda, who attacked the Hayat hotel in the capital Mogadishu on Friday: a commander of the security at night. And at least 20 people died – but the final toll could be even higher – in the attack and subsequent siege by the Somali security forces, according to the Somali police and witnesses, cited by various international media. It is not yet clear whether the terrorists killed in the operation were also included in the death toll.
The same sources also speak of a number of injured which varies between 40 and 50.
