(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 22 – The Russian armed forces have placed large quantities of fuel in the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and this suggests preparations for a possible provocation against Kiev with a fire: the head of the Center writes on Facebook for the defense reforms of kiev, Oleksandr Danylyuk, citing a source of Ukrainian intelligence.

“Ukrainian intelligence sources at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant report that the Russians, contrary to safety precautions, have placed significant quantities of fuel throughout the plant,” said Danylyuk, who is the coordinator of the Ukraine-NATO interdepartmental platform for the contrast to hybrid threats: “It is possible a provocation with the ignition of a fire”, he adds.
