(ANSA) – KIEV, AUGUST 24 – Ukraine “will fight to the end” against the Russian aggressor and “will not make any concessions or compromises with the enemy”: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a speech on video for Ukraine’s Independence Day, which also marks exactly six months since the invasion began .. “We don’t care what army you have, we only care about our land. We will fight for it to the end”, he said Zelensky.
The Ukrainian leader went on to say: “We have been holding on for six months. It has been hard, but we have clenched our fists and are fighting for our fate.” Each new day is one more reason not to give up. After such a long journey, we have no right not to go all the way, “Zelensky added.
