Kiev at the IAEA, Zaporizhzhia power station reconnected to the grid

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 25 – The power line for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine has been restored. This was announced by Ukraine which communicated it to the IAEA.

“Ukraine told the IAEA that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe, lost its connection to the power line at least twice today, but now the connection to the power grid is active again” .

Hours earlier the Ukrainian nuclear operator, Energoatom, had announced that the power plant, in the hands of the Russians, had been disconnected from the Ukrainian national grid for the first time in almost 40 years of operation. (HANDLE).
