(ANSA) – NEW YORK, AUG 26 – A pregnant Louisiana woman with a fetus without a skull is forced to travel to North Carolina to obtain an abortion. In fact, the woman was unable to find a doctor in her state capable of terminating the pregnancy, due to the confusion unleashed by the new squeeze on abortion and the fear of losing her license.
The woman raised $ 30,000 online with a GoFundMe partner to help cover travel expenses. Otherwise, the alternative for her would have been to carry on the pregnancy in the knowledge that the baby could die before being born or live at most a few minutes once he was born.
