(ANSA) – NEW YORK, AUG 26 – The identity of spies, sources, informants, collaborators, undercover agents and of the entire chain for the collection of intelligence information. In some of the boxes taken from Mar-a-Lago there was also this type of classified information, which is among the most sensitive and protected by the government because there are human lives at stake and because losing even one of these figures could result in a step back years for American intelligence.
The haste of federal agents to secure this information would explain, the New York Times reports, the FBI blitz, worried about the possibility of identifying its sources in case the papers got into the wrong hands. (HANDLE).
