Aline de Lima Ferreira Castro, 38, and Luiz Castro Júnior, 44, were found dead on Friday, the 2nd, in the house where they lived in Hyannis, Massachusetts, in the United States. The Brazilian couple was from Votuporanga, in the interior of Sao Paulo. At around 2:50 am, the police received a call to attend to a report about a home burglary. However, after investigation, the police said that there was a homicide and a suicide in the house. The Barnstable Police Department said on social media that “the crime has been isolated at the Murray Way residence, and there is no danger to the public as the investigation continues.” According to the local press, Aline was found with punctures all over her body. Luiz was found hanged, locked in the bathroom of the house. Regarding the couple’s children, aged 7 and 11, who were in the house, they are under the care of the State Department for Children and the Family.
