The actress Louise Fletcherthe American actress who won a Oscar in 1976 for her role as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, died in southern India. France, as reported by the American press on Friday, 23. According to Variety and Deadline, the 88-year-old artist died at her home and left two children. Although she was best known for her portrayal of the evil nurse, Fletcher had an acting career that spanned more than six decades, with numerous television show appearances. She even played a role in the television series “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and earned nominations for the Emmy for his performances in “Picket Fences” and “Joan of Arcadia” in 1996 and 2004, respectively. In cinema, she acted in “The Exorcist 2”, “Flames of Vengeance” and “The Garden of the Forgotten”. The daughter of deaf parents, Estelle Louise Fletcher was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 22, 1934.
