the justice of Argentina This Friday, 30, the young Nicolás Carrizo and Agustina Díaz were indicted as “secondary participants” in the “common plan” to kill the vice president Cristina Kirchner a month ago with the other two detained for the attack, according to the decision to which Agência Efe had access. Federal judge María Eugenia Capuchetti ordered his preventive detention as she did with the other indicted: Fernando Sabag Montiel – the Brazilian man accused of having tried to shoot the vice president – and his girlfriend, Brenda Uliarte. The detainees are accused of “planning the premeditated attempt to kill” Cristina in a case that is being treated as an attempted murder. Cristina Kirchner, who was president from 2007 to 2015, escaped unscathed on September 1 from an attack that took place outside the door of the Buenos Aires building where she lives, during a demonstration by supporters who expressed support for her after a prosecutor asked her to be sentenced. to 12 years in prison for alleged corruption. Sabag Montiel, 35, and Brenda, 23, are accused of “co-authoring” the attack. Agustina Díaz, 21, a friend of Uliarte’s, is accused of having participated “by providing her agreement and cooperation” in planning the attack. Nicolás Carrizo, 27, known as the head of the “band of copitos”, as the group of cotton candy sellers is called, to which the Brazilian and his girlfriend also belonged, is accused of “actively” intervening in the planning of the attack, providing a firearm that ended up not being used. For the Argentine Justice, Agustina Díaz and Nicolás Carrizo must respond as secondary participants, after it is proven that they were not present in the attack, but “entrusted their execution” to the other two defendants. “The global analysis of the conversations held between them allowed us to establish that all the accused converged on the purpose of causing the death of the vice president of the nation, exchanging opinions on how the act should be carried out”, details the indictment.
