the government of U.S offered help to Israel this Friday, the 27th, to bring to justice the perpetrators of the attack against a synagogue in a settlement located in east jerusalem, in which seven people died. The president Joe Biden ordered the American national security team to contact Israeli interlocutors to offer “all appropriate support” to tend to the injured and “bring those responsible for this horrible crime to justice”, said the spokeswoman for the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre. “The United States will provide the full support of the government and people of Israel,” said the person in charge of communications for the US Executive. Jean-Pierre also lamented the “atrocious terrorist attack that took place in the synagogue in Jerusalem”. Seven people died when they were shot in an armed attack on a synagogue located in a Jewish settlement in east Jerusalem, in an attack that was celebrated by Palestinian militias, in revenge for the death, on Thursday, of 10 Palestinians at the hands of Israeli forces. Today’s attack was the deadliest in years in Israel.
