The Coronation Concert’s centerpiece, ‘Illuminating the Nation’, will see the country unite in celebration as iconic venues across the UK are lit up using projections, lasers, drone displays and lighting.

Neighbors and communities across the UK are invited to share food and fun together at Coronation Big Lunches, in a national act of celebration and friendship. From a cup of tea with a neighbor to a street party, the Grand Coronation Luncheon brings the celebrations to your neighborhood and is a great way to get to know your community a little better. The Coronation Grand Luncheon will be overseen and organized by the Grand Luncheon team at the Eden Project. The Big Lunch is an idea of the Eden Project, made possible by The National Lottery, which brings together millions of people annually to encourage community spirit, reduce loneliness and support charities and good causes. The Big Help Out will take place on Monday 8th May 2023 and is being organized by The Together Coalition and a wide range of partners such as The Scouts, Royal Voluntary Service and faith groups across the UK. Big Help Out will highlight the positive impact that volunteerism has on communities across the country. In honor of His Majesty The King’s public service, The Big Help Out will encourage people to try to volunteer and join in the work being done to support their local areas. The Big Help Out’s goal is to use volunteerism to bring communities together and create a lasting Coronation Weekend volunteer legacy.
