Hungary ratifies the protocol on Finland’s accession to NATO separately from Sweden, as does Turkey.

The Hungarian Parliament will hold a meeting on March 27 vote on the ratification of Finland’s accession to NATO. Like Turkey, Hungary will approve entry of Finland separate from Sweden.
About it informed Hungarian government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs on Twitter. Parliament to decide on Sweden’s accession to NATO later.
“Voting in parliament will take place March 27“, he stated.
The head of the Fidesz faction in the Hungarian parliament, Mate Kocis, confirmed that his faction decided to consider separately the issues of ratification protocols of Finland and Sweden on joining NATO.
“On behalf of the Fidesz Group, I would like to inform you that we decided to support Finland’s accession to NATO. We will postpone the vote in Parliament on this issue to March 27, when we vote unanimously in favor,” the parliamentarian wrote.
He added that Parliament will decide on Sweden’s accession to NATO later.
As reported by GLOBAL HAPPENINGS, Sweden and Finland may soon become NATO members. The countries fulfilled all the conditions of Turkey.
