Sorry for keeping you waiting.” The politician had been banned from the networks since January 6, 2021, when he incited a invasion of the Capitol from United States. The 76-year-old Republican leader is running for president again and has gained access to his twitter in November of last year, as soon as he announced his re-election, but he still hasn’t posted anything. On Facebook, Trump has 34 million followers and on YouTube this number is much smaller, around 2.6 million. This Friday, the 17th, the video platform decided to lift the ban. “As of today, Donald J. Trump’s channel is no longer restricted and can upload new content. We carefully weigh the ongoing risk of real-world violence while balancing the chance for voters to hear equally from top national candidates in the run-up to an election.”
