In the center Tbilisi there was a big fire. Fire engulfed hotellocated next to the theater Gabriade and the oldest temple in the capital of Georgia Anchiskhati.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the fire, NewsGeorgia reports with reference to the emergency service. People from the front side of the building were evacuated, others jumped off themselves (to watch the video, make the news to the end)
It is noted that the Ambassadori hotel, which was damaged by the fire, is one of the most popular in the Georgian capital.
The video from the scene shows that there were people on the floors of the hotel engulfed in flames.
As of 18:00 (Kyiv time) fire localized. Worked on site 11 fire engines and two ambulances, reports Paper Kartuli.
The Ambassadori conference hall hosted political measures. Their participants, as well as staff and guests, were evacuated.
It is still not known what caused the fire. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported that, according to preliminary information, the fire started on the top two floors of a 4-storey building.
