(ANSA) – ROME, NOVEMBER 07 – The state of New South Wales and its capital Sydney will further loosen anti-Covid restrictions tomorrow, one month after the end of a lockdown that lasted almost 100 days in the Australian metropolis. The Guardian reports it.
About 90% of the state’s inhabitants have received both doses of the coronavirus vaccine, and this further easing affects only fully vaccinated people. Among others, the limits on the number of guests that can be received at home and on gatherings will be abolished.
“We are leading the nation out of the pandemic,” said state premier Dominic Perrottet, calling for a “final push” to reach, and even surpass, the milestone of 95% of the vaccinated population. (HANDLE).
