Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis urged the world community to “stop the terrorists.”

Recall, on the morning of June 6, the invaders blew up the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, under the threat of flooding up to 80 settlements: Zelensky convenes an emergency meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.

In the settlements of Kherson, which fall into the flooding zone, they announced the evacuation of the population. A rise in the water level downstream of the Kakhovka reservoir is recorded, which can reach a critical level in a few hours.

According to Ukrenergo, the Kakhovskaya HPP is completely destroyed and cannot be restored. They warned about the threat to the ZNPP, because the water from the Kakhovka reservoir was used to cool the reactors. Currently, the water level in the reservoir is rapidly decreasing.

Meanwhile, Energoatom said that so far the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP after the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station remains under control. The plant personnel and IAEA experts monitor all indicators.

At the same time, the partisans of the “Atesh” movement told which battalion of the Russian Federation blew up the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station and noted that a “hunt” is beginning for the criminals, whose names are known. He admitted that it was the Russian occupiers who committed the explosion in order to stop the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and one of the invaders. He also called for the destruction of other hydraulic structures in Ukraine.
