(ANSA) – LONDON, NOV 10 – Prince Harry said he had e-mailed Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey that “his platform was allowing a coup d’etat to be organized” one day before the assault on the United States Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump on 6 January.
The revelation was made by the Duke of Sussex during his video speech to a panel called ‘The Internet Lie Machine’, organized by the American technology and culture magazine Wired. “That e-mail was sent the day before. And then it happened and I haven’t heard from him since,” added Queen Elizabeth’s nephew, referring to Dorsey, who has not replied to the statements for the time being.
The prince also made a general complaint against the spread of hatred on social media, of which he and his wife Meghan have been victims on numerous occasions. And he then pointed the finger at “division and lies” spread over the internet. (HANDLE).
