Afghanistan: 100 days from the arrival of the Taliban to power

– 100 days have passed since the return to power after twenty years of the Taliban in Afghanistan, which took place on August 15th after the flight abroad of former president Ashraf Ghani and the surrender of the armed forces, while the US and its Western allies completed the withdrawal of their military from the country.
After promising the formation of an “inclusive government”, the self-styled Koranic students at the beginning of September gave birth to a government without women or members of minorities and made up of numerous internationally wanted people for terrorism.
Since then, there have been numerous reports of abuse and violence against women and minorities, including murders, while in much of the country girls are still denied education starting from secondary school.
The international community has responded by blocking aid and freezing the resources of the Central Bank of Kabul abroad and has so far ruled out recognition of the mullahs’ executive.
