(ANSA) – BOLZANO, 14 DEC – “I have a problem with the blue flashing lights”. This is how the driver of a school bus justified himself who on Monday morning in St. Johann, in the Austrian Tyrol, while he was taking 24 pupils to school, first voluntarily bumped into an ambulance and then attacked the driver of the rescue vehicle with a knife . The driver of the school bus was arrested.
The ambulance had its flashing lights on, but due to morning traffic it had to stop. At this moment she was hit by the school bus. The driver got out of the minibus and attacked the man behind the wheel of the ambulance with a switchblade who fortunately managed to dodge the blow, being only slightly injured. Meanwhile, the ambulance doctor made the children get off the school bus, before the driver got back and continued his journey as if nothing had happened. After about ten minutes, however, he was stopped by a police patrol. (HANDLE).
