Covid: free tampons for Italian tourists in Carinthia

(ANSA) – UDINE, 16 DEC – Carinthia (Austria) and Villach (Villach) provide free tampons in dedicated centers to guarantee Italian tourists a peaceful stay before returning home. This is learned from a note from the Carinthian tourist board.

The new ordinance signed by the Italian Minister of Health provides that, from 16 December 2021 until 31 January 2022, all those who have stayed in Austria and are about to return to Italy will have to show the negative result of a molecular test (PCR) or antigen test performed in the 24 or 48 hours (in case of PCR) prior to entry into Italy.

In Carinthia there are numerous centers located throughout the region. If any Italian tourist fails to swab the area where they spent their holidays, they can in any case stop in Villach, the last city on the Klagenfurt – Tarvisio – Udine motorway, equipped with two hubs for swabbing.
