On June 25, Iran’s parliament supported the decision to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (Magata). 221 deputies 223 of those present voted for the plan.
No one was opposed, one deputy refrain. It is reported by Mehrnews and The Guardian.
This decision was made against the backdrop of an escalation of voltage in the region, and after, according to Iranian sources, the United States caused air strikes to three nuclear objects – in Natanga, Ford and Isfahan. Iran called these actions a violation of international law and a contract for non -epentation of nuclear weapons.
The speaker of the parliament Mohammad Bacher Calibaf said that the UN agency “not only condemns” attacks on the nuclear infrastructure of Iran, but also “put forward its authority to sell”. Therefore, according to him, the Iranian atomic energy organization will temporarily stop cooperation with the IAEA and accelerate the development of a peaceful nuclear program.
Immediately after voting in parliament, slogans were heard – “Death of America” and “The Death of Israel”.
The final entry into force of this decision requires the approval by the Constitution of the Constitution by the Council of the Constitution, the body that checks the legislation on compliance with Islamic norms and the Iranian constitution.
Recall that on June 22, the United States attacked Iran nuclear facilities, including the largest and most protected Ford. Subsequently, the highest officials of the United States, led by Trump, announced the complete destruction of the Iranian nuclear program, and the US president also threatened Tehran to destroy other nuclear facilities if he did not agree to the ceasefire.
According to OBOZ.UA, on June 24, Trump announced the end of the war between Israel and Iran, although both sides exchanged blows after the beginning of the ceasefire.
