There, the professionals found only light abrasions on their heads.

The case rekindles concerns regarding the safety of tourists visiting the region. On June 21, publicist Juliana Marins slipped during the trail and fell into a gorge on Mount Rinjani. After four days of failed rescue attempts, he was found dead by the search team. The family sees negligence and over delay from Indonesian authorities to provide help with the young woman. Local government information since the beginning of the case has been marked on errors and fake news. Authorities even told the family that Juliana had received food and water – which never happened. The rescuers only reached where she was four days after the accident.
