Migrants: Spain, landings in the south-east, one dead

(ANSA) – MADRID, 21 DEC – New landings of migrants on the coasts of south and south-east Spain, in the Balearic Islands and in the Canaries: this was reported by the authorities, emergency services and Iberian media.

The body of a migrant was found on a beach in the province of Almería, reports the Efe news agency.

In this area, several small boats have arrived in the last hours: the number of people disembarked has not yet been specified, adds the Efe.

16 people were instead rescued off the coast of Cabrera, one of the Balearic islands, according to what was announced by the Spanish government delegation in the archipelago. A boat with 16 other people arrived near Murcia, while 18 were intercepted off Almuñécar (Granada). Another 56 people landed in the Canary Islands last night, according to the regional emergency service. (HANDLE).
