Migrants: Spain, 347 arrivals in a few hours

(ANSA) – MADRID, 22 DEC – At least 347 migrants have arrived in Spain in the last hours by sea or by land: the news agency Efe reports, based on data from the Iberian authorities and emergency services.

The Red Cross made it known, for example, that between yesterday and today it assisted 265 people who arrived at the coasts of the Almeria area (south-east). 12 underage boys were intercepted while trying to cross the Strait of Gibraltar and were taken to Ceuta, adds the Efe. 13 people were stopped by the Guardia Civil before dawn in Ibiza (Balearics), after having probably disembarked in the previous hours. Another 43 people reached the coasts of Murcia (south-east) during the day today by sea.

Finally, this morning about 80 people attempted to cross the barrier located on the land border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla: 14 made it, according to the central government delegation in this city. (HANDLE).
