Saudi air force raid in Sanaa in Yemen, 14 dead

(ANSAMed) – BEIRUT, JANUARY 18 – The death toll, not independently verifiable, of the Saudi air force raid on the Yemeni capital Sanaa, in the hands of the Huthi insurgents, is 14 killed. This was reported by press sources cited by pan-Arab TV channels.

This news comes in the aftermath of the airstrikes carried out by the Houthis, supported by Iran, on oil installations in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Three workers, two Indians and a Pakistani were killed in the raids.

According to the Al Masira TV of the same pro-Iranian insurgents, civilian homes in the capital were hit in the bombing this morning.

The media report the killing of a retired general of the Yemeni forces along with his wife and son. (ANSAMed).
