(ANSA) – ROME, JANUARY 26 – A court in Santa Clara County, California, has issued a restraining order against a woman suspected of stalking Apple CEO Tim Cook. CBS News reports it.
The stalking started more than a year ago and the woman claims that Cook is the father of her two twin children. Apple accuses the woman – who is 45 and resides in Virginia – of sending the manager photos of a loaded gun and trespassing on her home in Palo Alto.
The Cupertino giant believes that the woman “may be armed” and “intends to return to (Cook’s) residence or in any case locate it in the immediate future”. Also according to Apple, the woman would have sent Cook about 200 emails from the end of October to the middle of November of 2020.
The restraining order prohibits the woman from owning firearms, from approaching Cook in person, or from contacting him via email and social media. (HANDLE).
