Xi Jinping celebrates 100th anniversary of Chinese Communist Party in Tiananmen Square

On the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, nearly 70,000 people gathered in Tiananmen Square in Beijing to witness the celebrations. Chinese President Xi Jinping during his speech praised the work of the Communist Party and did not hesitate to attack his international opponents.

A crowd standing at attention, without masks, listened for more than an hour to President Xi Jinping’s speech praising the achievements of the Communist regime and attacking, without citing them, China’s great rivals.

“We need to accelerate the modernization of the military. Building a powerful state requires a powerful army because only it can ensure state security and defend socialist China and preserve the dignity of the nation,” said President Xi. Jinping, in front of the crowd of soldiers, students and especially thousands of Communist Party cadres.

In revolutionary clothes, the most powerful president since Mao Zedong addressed all 95 million members of the Communist Party. The president also took advantage of his speech to point the finger at the behavior of Western democracies, accused of wanting to humiliate China. “We will not let this happen,” Xi Jinping assured to a round of applause.
