(ANSA) – MANSURA, 01 FEB – In an ANSA video shot on the eve of today’s hearing of his trial in Mansura, Patrick Zaki said he was relatively optimistic about the outcome of the proceedings which should end today, confirming that wanting to return to Bologna immediately and, first of all, strolling around Piazza Maggiore.
“I hope everything goes well. I am a little optimistic and we cross our fingers so that something good happens, that they close the case and make the final decision,” said the student from the University of Bologna. When asked what will be the “first thing” he will do in Bologna, the activist and researcher replied: “I will go to Piazza Maggiore and then to the university”.
The hearing should take place behind closed doors, therefore only in the presence of the accused and his lawyers. At least this is the indication of a source who is witnessing the entrances to the palace of justice in Mansura. (ANSA).
