(ANSA) – BERLIN, 07 FEB – UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will open the Munich Security Conference (18-20 February) this year. To make it known is the organization of the forum. The German delegation will be led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the statement continues.
“The United States will again be represented by a delegation of top members of the administration and Congress,” it also reads.
Due to the pandemic, the summit will be held in a reduced format, “with the participation of 30 heads of state and 100 ministers as well as the leaders of major international organizations such as the UN, NATO and the EU”, adds the organization.
