With false license plate to avoid fines, reported in Florence

He had forged the license plate, probably to avoid fines, but was discovered by the municipal police of Florence and will now be notified of the outstanding reports. The episode dates back to last Saturday.

A patrol, explains Palazzo Vecchio, was carrying out a check in the Galluzzo area when it checked a parked car. At first glance, the number plate seemed original, but upon closer inspection, the agents realized that the symbol of the Italian Republic was missing: a check on the civil vehicle terminal revealed that the combination of letters and numbers was not assigned to any owner. The driver, who in the meantime had approached the car, was therefore charged with the use of a false license plate. Given that the vehicle was duly insured with the authentic license plate, the agents assumed that the purpose of the forgery was to avoid penalties for violations of the highway code. From a check, the Municipality explains again, two reports relating to exceeding the speed limit were left pending due to the impossibility of tracing the driver. They will now be notified to the person identified by the agents.
